At The Rousseau Effect, your satisfaction is our priority. Due to the nature of cosmetic products and for hygiene and safety reasons, please review our return and refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

All Sales Are Final

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on makeup or skincare products once they have been opened or used.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’re here to help.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at Therousseaueffect@gmail.com 

with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the damaged or incorrect item(s) and packaging

Once reviewed and approved, we will offer a replacement or refund, depending on product availability.

Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. Claims submitted after this timeframe may not be eligible for resolution.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the issue was due to an error on our part.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If eligible, refunds will be processed and a new order may be placed.

Lost or Stolen Packages

The Rousseau Effect is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that are marked as “delivered” by the carrier. Please contact the shipping carrier directly for assistance.
